We are proud to share the successful completion of the Smart Farming Solutions Workshop, successfully held on October 30, 2025, and organized by eFarming Somalia, bringing together 50 young innovators, students, and agri-entrepreneurs to explore how technology and innovation can transform Somalia’s agricultural sector 🇸🇴.

The workshop provided a dynamic learning and exchange platform where participants gained practical insights into smart farming and digital agriculture. As Somalia continues to face challenges related to climate change, low productivity, and limited market access, the sessions focused on how technology-driven solutions can unlock new opportunities for smallholder farmers and agri-entrepreneurs.

The sessions were led by Yassin Mohamed, CEO & Founder of eFarming Somalia, who shared expert perspectives on the role of innovation and technology in modern farming. Participants explored smart, data-driven agricultural practices that enhance productivity, climate resilience, and informed decision-making. Special emphasis was placed on digital tools that connect farmers to markets, strengthen food systems, and support inclusive agricultural growth.

Beyond technical learning, the workshop fostered collaboration, inspiration, and community building. The 50 participants are now part of a growing network of changemakers committed to driving digital transformation in Somalia’s agriculture sector, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and climate resilience 🌱.
